Ian Brinkley is the founder and principal of The Brinkley Insurance Group. He started his insurance career in 2006 after graduating from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ian achieved the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation from the American College of Financial Services in 2010. He started The Brinkley Insurance Group in 2018, with the goal of providing the very best service for each and every client. Our clients are the life blood of the insurance industry; we strive to put our client’s needs at the forefront. Our Company slogan is “Working for You, Not an Insurance Company”, which means just that, we work for the client not an insurance company.
Outside of the office, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife Emma, and their young son Liam. Ian and his family live in the Mordecai area of Raleigh and spend their free time walking and exploring downtown. Ian grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and is huge fan of the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He grew up playing hockey and played on the Club Team at UNC. With his hockey days behind him, Ian is an avid Triathlete, competing in several Half and Full Ironman Races. He is a member of the Triangle Triathlon Club and The Oak City Triathlon Club.
